01. What are Sensible Care's operating hours?

Appointments are offered Mon-Sat 9 am - 5:30 pm. Sessions are conducted through the Sensible Care platform and our administrative staff is available to help should anything come up.

02. What services does Sensible Care offer?

We work with adults, couples, child and adolescent patients. We offer therapy, psychological testing, and psychiatric care in-person or virtually. We also conduct TMS at our clinic in Santa Ana. Our comprehensive care model allows us to be partners with our patients as they grow and change.

03. Do cancellations affect pay? 

Cancellations and no-shows do not affect provider salary. Providers enjoy using cancellations to offer thought leadership via our content website and social content, catch up on notes and collaborate with colleagues.

04. How quickly can I start seeing insurance patients?

We are seeing a delay of 3-5 months to become credentialed with our insurance payors and to begin seeing clients. As much as we'd like to, we've been unable to speed up this timeline. Once we have your CAQH profile we can begin the application process and will keep you abreast of your anticipated start date.

05. How are patients matched with providers?

Patients complete a thoughtful intake form that helps to identify the provider best suited for their case. Since we are a low acuity clinic, we also triage and refer out patients who require higher levels of care.

06. Do you take insurance?

Yes! We are in-network with Anthem Blue Cross, Aetna, Cigna, Optum (United), Humana and Tricare. For patients needing a superbill, we are able to provide copay clarity in advance utilizing our proprietary software technology.

07. Geographically where do you serve?

We have clinics for in-person care in Santa Ana (and soon Laguna Hills). We offer virtual care to patients across the state of California.

08. How are video sessions conducted?

We utilize our proprietary software for video appointments, patient payments, insurance validations and thoughtfully matching patients with providers. We continue to roll out new versions of our software to improve accessibility for all.
